Two Offices – One Team

Laurence Tremayne, Director

Laurence is the sole director of Laurence Tremayne. Laurence moved to Daventry aged 4, where he was schooled and has lived ever since.  Laurence is very well known within the community; he initially worked within the leisure industry, operated a successful franchise and before turning to property in the 1990s.  Whilst balancing being a franchise operator and Estate Agent, Laurence was also a retained Daventry Firefighter for 10 years, which brought many contacts and also changed his outlook on what’s important in life. Laurence is very passionate and proud of his business with very clear beliefs on how it should be run and what he wants to achieve, please read our About page to find out more about Laurence’s business achievements. Ultimately, Laurence feels that he should be able to go home every day and say that he has done his best and could not have done anymore. It’s a good trait to have and it’s one which he tries to instil in his staff.

Sara Welch, Administrator

Sara joined us in 2005 having moved to the area in 2002. Sara has nearly 30 years of Secretarial/PA experience which has helped her successfully manage the smooth day to day running of operations, which enables the Sales Team to go about their duties. Sara is a pro-active problem solver whose role is perhaps not seen by our clients but it is very much appreciated by her work colleagues.

Natasha Cawsey, Sales Manager

Natasha first joined us in 2005 as a Trainee and it was very clear early on that she was a natural for this career, through a lot of hard work, Natasha was promoted to Sales Manager. Having grown up and been educated in Weedon and Daventry she has a vast knowledge of Daventry and the surrounding villages. Natasha approaches her work with drive and passion and she is thoroughly committed to providing excellent customer care by seeing everything through from start to finish; from the initial phone call to the handing over of keys.

Andrew Healey, Sales

Andrew began his career in Estate Agency in 1998 and during this time has worked in both corporate and independent estate agencies, including management roles. He joined Laurence and the Team in 2006. Having been educated and living in Daventry he can offer a wealth of information about the area and he has built up a vast network of contacts and friends playing sport for many local teams. Many people who meet Andrew can see that he is passionate about offering excellent customer service and changing the view of how Estate Agents are often perceived.

Damon Boniface, Branch Manager

Damon moved to the area aged 7 and was educated at Welton Primary School and Ashby Road in Daventry. His local knowledge and expertise of the area is superb having lived in Daventry, Staverton, Crick and currently Newnham. Damon is a natural sales person with a 30 year track record of sales behind him. He joined us in 2010 and within his role; Damon constantly demonstrates his wealth of local knowledge and a good understanding of the emotional aspects of both selling and buying a property.

Chris Langsford, Sales

Chris joined us in January 2013 and having previously worked for an estate agent in Rugby. Chris is a local person who has lived his whole life in the villages of West Haddon and Ravensthorpe and was schooled in Guilsborough.  He is able to share his vast knowledge of the villages covered by our Long Buckby Office and for this reason was very keen to gain the position within our company.

Paul Winch, Affinity Mortgage Solutions

Paul started his career in Estate Agency after leaving further education in Oxford.  His first role was as a property consultant which gave him a greater understanding of customers’ needs and the advice required when purchasing a property.  Paul founded Affinity Mortgage Solutions in 2002, to coincide with the opening of our Estate Agency, after 5 years of work within the financial services industry at Pearl Insurance and Zurich.  As a business, Paul and Affinity focus on good customer service whilst offering expertise in the mortgage industry.

Anthony George, Affinity Mortgage Solutions

Anthony started in the financial sector in his early twenties after finishing university and travelling.  Anthony trained, gained experience and qualified with the HSBC, where he gained the knowledge and understanding that he needed to be a good adviser.  He also learnt the valuable lesson of wanting to offer his clients more options from more lenders and providers.  As a result of wanting to truly help his clients find the right lender, he decided to go independent in November 2007 and joined Affinity Mortgage Solutions.  He enjoys the challenge of searching out new lenders and the ever changing criteria of the mortgage market.

Kate Young, Affinity Mortgage Solutions

Kate has been in financial services since 1996.  She started with Lloyds TSB as a lending officer, followed by the Prudential as a financial adviser and then joined a corporate Independent Financial Advice firm in London where she completed her training as an independent financial adviser and achieved Chartered status. Kate become a partner in Affinity Mortgage Solutions in 2003 which has allowed her to follow the company ethos of providing independent advice to her clients, offering a professional service and treating others as she would want to be treated herself, without having the restrictions of being part of a larger organisation.

How long we keep your data for

 

We will retain your personal data for different periods depending on the service you have chosen to use us for, which may be a longer period than that for which we need to hold your data to provide those services, i.e. where we are under regulatory or statutory duties to hold your data for a longer period or need to retain it in the event of a legal claim or complaint.

 

Who your information will be shared with

We may pass your details to the following organisations (our “data processors”) or they may be able to access your details, who carry out certain activities on our behalf as part of us providing our services:

Creditsafe UK (Fraud Prevention Agency)

We will also pass your details where necessary to property surveyors and to your property solicitors and those of the other parties to your transaction. We will also disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we act to sell or buy any business or assets (property), in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • If our company or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by us about our customers will be one of the transferred assets.
  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes without first obtaining your prior consent.

Security of your data

Your data will be held on secure servers within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) with all reasonable technological and operation measures put in place to safeguard it from unauthorised access.  Where possible any identifiable information will be encrypted or minimised.

If we have given you a username and password which enables you to access certain parts of your matter on our systems, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. Please do not share it with anyone.

Your rights

How you can access and update your information

You have a right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, known as a data subject access request. You also have the right to request that information we hold about you which may be incorrect, or which has been changed since you first told us, is updated or removed. How you can request erasure of your data

You can ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where you have withdrawn consent for us to process it (as explained below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

How you can withdraw your consent

You have the right at any time to withdraw any consent you have given us to process your personal data. Please note if you withdraw your consent it will not affect the lawfulness of any processing of your personal data we have carried out before you withdrew your consent.
